Maintenance Assistant (Part Time)

  • To assist with the Maintenance Manager and the Management team on daily tasks to prioritise maintenance requirements for the Hotel
  • To ensure that all plant and maintenance areas are locked at all times and to ensure that access is only permitted in the presence of maintenance personnel.
  • To ensure that all painting jobs are completed to the Company Standard
  • To ensure that all areas are left clean and tidy on completion of the job.
  • Ensure all work carried out increases ease of service and guest satisfaction

Night Porter

Night Porters should provide excellent customer service, be effective communicators, maintain a safe, secure environment throughout the hotel, be able to direct others in emergency situations, and have knowledge of and comply with all policies relating to health, safety and security. The position requires the ability to think and work independently. Night Porters must be able to provide food and beverage service to residents, clean public areas, set up event furniture, secure all buildings, and provide a wide range of services to meet guest needs.

Main Duties:


  • To establish a basic knowledge of the elementary kitchen practices through training.


  • To perform duties as prescribed by the more senior chefs and to learn from him/her the preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes according to specification.


  • To always operate in a clean, hygienic manner, keeping both person and surrounding work areas as clean as possible at all times and conforming to company hygiene regulations appertaining to the position.
