The IHF supports a number of industry initiatives to assist members minimise and effectively manage packaging waste throughout their business operations.

A major focus for our sector is single-use plastics, which we encourage members to eliminate as much as possible from their business. To assist with this, we are developing on-going supports for members and working with suppliers to identify alternative solutions.

We also support a number of important initiatives lead by Repak, including their Prevent & Save programme and Ireland's Pledge on Plastic Waste. We encourage you to explore these and other resources below.
