Already this is an area where many hotels and guesthouses have made substantial progress. The IHF aims to build on this through our sustainability programme, sharing wide-ranging tools, guidance and resources below to help members implement more sustainable practices within their businesses.

Key areas of focus include reducing packaging and plastics, improving energy efficiency, promoting sustainable food policies and embracing measures to conserve water. We are interested in hearing from members about sustainability initiatives that you have implemented, tips on what has worked for your business and any feedback you would like to share with us.
