Online booking trends show strong performance for Ireland hotels in Q1 2023 with a significant growth in terms of Room-nights (+15%) and Direct Booked Revenue (+30%) compared to the same period in the previous year.

Growth was also sustained from non-domestic markets performance as our Top Movers Countries data show: Booked Revenue from USA travellers show a significant +90% growth, then UK +15% and Canada +84%.

Online Advertising on Digital Media channels (Search, Meta, Display and Video, etc...) continue to be an effective strategy for hotels focusing on direct bookings as our Digital Media KPIs show:

• Advertising budget allocated by hotels on Digital Media channels has grown by +24%
• ROI is strong with a x28 Return on Investment, an increase of +8% compared to average ROI in the same time range in the previous year
