The winners of the weddingsonline awards 2022 were announced last week at a gala dinner celebration attended by 350 wedding professionals at the Mullingar Park Hotel.

Speaking at the prestigious event Jonathan Bryans, weddingsonline Commercial Director said, “We were thrilled to have such a fantastic turnout and to celebrate the wonderful achievements of so many. The wedding industry has been hit hard in recent years and there is huge optimism now for what will be the busiest couple of years for weddings in Ireland ever".

The weddingsonline Outstanding Achievement Award was given to Elaina Fitzgerald-Kane from the Fitzgerald Woodlands House Hotel in Adare.

Jonathan Bryans said, “Elaina worked tirelessly throughout Covid as a liaison between the hospitality trade and the Irish Government. Her optimism and perseverance ensured the best possible outcomes for the Irish Wedding Industry. Her role as the President of the Irish Hotels Federation was instrumental in her gaining favour with key decision makers".
