Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
2. Customer Service:
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service, addressing any feedback or concerns promptly.
- Engage with patrons, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
3. Beverage Management:
- Develop and update cocktail menus, incorporating seasonal and innovative offerings, working with our gardener to grow seasonal herbs/fruits to be utilised in cocktails.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of wines, spirits, and other beverages.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or cocktail bar.
- Strong knowledge of beverage trends, mixology techniques, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
