#1fortheTeam Fundraising Campaign

The 2018 European Para Swimming Championships (a subsidiary of Paralympics Ireland) is in a final push to reach its funding target this summer. We would be extremely grateful if you could support this campaign. 

 

Milestone Event

Ireland will stage its first ever major parasport event, the ‘2018 Para Swimming European Championships’ when Europe’s top elite swimmers with a disability (over 500 athletes from 37 countries) compete in Dublin in August. Paralympics Ireland, with the help of its supporting partners, is hosting these championships from 13th – 19th August at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.

The #1fortheTeam campaign aims to raise €20,000 to help the local organising committee meet its budgeted spend of €1 million for the event. 

 

If the #1fortheTeam campaign target can be achieved, this will help Paralympics Ireland and its supporting partners to:

• Showcase the very best of Irish sport, its facilities and hospitality.

• Ensure the best possible experience for all competing athletes, and;

• Shape the future of Irish para swimming and the wider Irish Paralympic movement.
