Position: Sales and Marketing Executive – Maternity Contract

Reporting To: Sales and Marketing Manager / General Manager

Preferred Start Date: Early November 2017

Scope of Position

Responsible for maximising the sales potential of Shamrock Lodge Hotel across all business segments especially the wedding market. Covering a maternity contract for 6 months, with view to full time employment thereafter should targets be met.

Key Duties & Objectives

• Assist and manage all aspects of development and promotion of weddings and wedding events from ongoing support to couples, meeting of potential new couples and a huge focus on converting wedding show-arounds
• Management of all wedding related activity as well as regular updates of wedding sales and fortnightly reporting of same to General Manager
• Management of Marketing expenditure budget
• Devise and execute hotel sales & marketing promotional campaigns
• Develop printed promotional material including brochures, flyers, special offers, posters etc. as required
• Manage hotel advertising and research options to promote the hotel effectively using local and regional media
• Social media management across all platforms
• Assist with website content and driving sales through this channel
• Review, monitor and improve the hotels online presence on official website and all third-party websites
• Attend consumer and trade promotions as required
• Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis; monitoring their performance, rates and sales activity
