Purpose of Job: To assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in the development and performance of all sales activities, targeting new business relationships & maintaining current business relationships in particular within Social Media Channels so as to generate revenue and exposure for the Hotels. |

Main Duties:
- To arrive for work on time dressed in full clean uniform, name badge, well groomed and presenting a professional appearance to our guests.
- To assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in all day to day activities within the Department.
- Responsible for improving online presence within Social Media channels.
- Developing and implementing a Digital Marketing Strategy for the company.
- Online Marketing, SEO management, online updates and idea generation.
- Liaise with our online partner in developing new markets and maximizing our brand website.
- Maintenance of Social Media sites and Websites as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to our platform users.
- Assist and undertake the sourcing of new key corporate accounts for the hotel to suit the revenue needs of the hotel from all market segments through lead generation, face to face sales calls and negotiation as required.
- Following up all new corporate guests to obtain feedback on stay.
- Carry out competitor research and analyse, both locally and regionally.
- Management & Maintenance of all Sales & Marketing Databases.
- Co-ordination and execution of any direct mail campaigns
- Co-ordination and maintenance of all sales literature & campaigns and as required be involved in the production of marketing materials.
- Show a-round of the hotels and participation in various corporate entertainment events.
- Attendance and representation of company during trade fairs, consumer shows and key industry events.
- Provide back up support to the Reservations Team and Management of customer loyalty schemes.
- Compilation of performance reports on a daily/weekly & monthly basis.
- To be aware and comply with company policy regarding: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, and Customer Care & Security.
- To read, understand and comply with your responsibilities as defined in the Health & Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.
Occasional Duties:
- To attend meeting/training sessions as required.
- To carry out any other reasonable request made by Management.
- During peak times it may be necessary to work in other similar related departments.

Essential qualifications:
- Hotel experience and knowledge of the Hospitality Industry
- A proven track record in online marketing and SEO
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of and familiarity with various on-line media, video and internet.
Preferred qualifications:
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent with a strong academic record.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with good interpersonal skills
- Active user of internet and online applications such as Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment.
