§ To stock service tables with additional cutlery, crockery, linen and glass requirements.
§ Ensure all food accompaniments are available.
§ To meet, greet, seat and take orders from customers if required, completing dockets as required.
§ To serve all food and drink ordered in a polite, efficient, courteous manner, in line with company standards, using all appropriate opportunities to sell additional Drinks, wines etc.
§ To ensure that correct accompaniment's are available.
§ To clear tables, adjust covers as necessary and maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
§ To complete and comply with all Company docket systems and procedure.
§ To refer all customers comments to Restaurant Management/Restaurant Supervisor/Bar Supervisor
§ To ensure that all health, safety and hygiene rules and procedures are followed at all times.
§ Present the bill to the customer, for signature or payment (as appropriate), collect payment and return to the customer.
§ Ensure that correct change, receipt is given.
§ To clean area at end of the day, disposing of all rubbish, returning dirty linen and any disposables to servery.
§ Wash and store crockery, cutlery and glassware in the racks provided.
§ Supervisor to check cleanliness of area prior to being released.
§ To respond to all guests requests in a prompt efficient manner and follow-up to ensure the guest is satisfied.
§ To deal with any customer complaints as per the Service Recovery policy in the Standard Operating procedures, ensure supervisors or managers are made aware of the situation.
§ To check guest satisfaction continuously throughout their stay.
§ To make any subsequent changes on a management request.
