Rochestown Park Hotel is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
The successful candidate will be one of two Assistant F&B Managers responsible for assisting the F&B Operations Manager in the operational and financial performance of the Food & Beverage (BAR) Department
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery of all Food & Beverage Operations whilst on duty by promoting and providing the highest level of customer care and superior service excellence in line with agreed budgets and cost conscious targets.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- To effectively assist with the management of all Food & Beverage Operations across all outlets of the Bar department in line with agreed standards.
- To deliver a consistently exceptional level of customer care in each outlet, resulting in each area being recognised for its strong sense of quality & service.
- Drive for the highest standard of presentation in Suttons Bistro and all Bar outlets to include: cleanliness, maintenance and atmosphere
- To assist in the development of strong departmental training practices through records and procedures that will assist in achieving consistent high standards.
- Structured approach to ensure a tight control is maintained on all stock and associated products and to account for loss
- To assist in developing and maintaining budgets in terms of stock, sales and labour
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification in Hospitality/ Management
- Minimum of 3/4 years' Assistant Food & Beverage Management experience
- Positive outgoing and friendly personality
- The ability to lead and motivate the team
- Ability to delegate tasks accordingly
- Highly organised with the ability to drive new initiatives
