Support Your Local is a campaign run by the Drinks Industry Group of Ireland, of which the IHF is a member, is calling on the Government to reverse the excise duty increase of last year's budget. The increase has added additional pressure to an already struggling industry that supports 92,000 jobs across the country. 

 

 

The campaign has produced research to show the impact of Excise on the licensed bar trade. We would urge you to get involved in this very important campaign, there are posters and other campaign material available for hotels, bars and restaurants to display.  In the coming weeks we also want to make sure that local politicians hear about the impact that tax increases have had on local trade around the country.
