On Monday 3rd October we held a webinar with the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland). The webinar focused on optimising energy and heat use in hotels, and gave an overview of energy use in the hotel industry with guidance on how to reduce costs and enhance sustainability. It outlined the supports available with a particular focus on the ‘Support Scheme for Renewable Heat’ which provides financial support to convert from fossil fuel to renewable heat.
