Hotel Receptionist

The Glendalough Hotel is a 3 star 40 bedroomed hotel in the heart of Glendalough Valley.  We are currently looking for an experienced hotel receptionist to join the team in this very busy hotel.

The Ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be friendly in nature and have an excellent telephone manner. 

Reception duties include check in and check out, reservations, liaising with other departments of the hotel including kitchen, housekeeping/maintenance.

Reservations Supervisor

The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the vacant post of RESERVATIONS SUPERVISOR
.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of all Reservations operations.
- Liasing with Senior Managers/Sales and Marketing on optimising sales and revenue growth.
- Positioning, presentation and rate management on third party websites in consultation with the General Manager.
- Manage social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
- Daily telephone reservations and product unselling.

Chef

Chef with passion for food required to work in our 40 cover fine dinning country house restaurant in county Donegal. Experience & qualifications essential, hours & salary negotiable 

Night Porter

Night Porter, Full Time position 5 nights a week. Fluent English and computer skills required. Full clean Irish Driving Licence required. Previous experience in a similiar establishment  with food and beverage experience preferable. Passion and enthusiasm for the industry and high level of customer care. Organised and ability to work on own initiative. Attention to detail and ability to work to high standards.

 

Food & Beverage Manager

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of  2 - 3 years in a similar role with a thrid level qualification.

They will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Food & Beverage Department, including operational issues ensuring that all areas of the Food & Beverage Department meet the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel’s standards of quality and service, and to work with the Senior Management team to optimise profits and increase sales and promote new and diverse business. 

Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

The Head Chef role is responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, including coordination the duties and training of all chefs, cooks and kitchen personnel to ensure a safe, efficient and profitable service.  Maximise the profitability of the kitchen operation through effective cost controls and menu design.
