Last Friday evening at a prestigious Awards Ceremony in Belfast's Stormont Hotel, the 4 Star Hillgrove Hotel, Leisure & Spa in Monaghan was awarded Number One Family Hotel in Ireland for the second year running! The Awards, presented by Pamela Ballentine of UTV Fame, was a night of glitz and glamour attended by a group of Hillgrove Hotel's Management and Staff. Families First Awards recognise the companies, products and people who put Irish families first and make life a little easier for them. This award is a massive achievement and honour for the Monaghan based Hotel and all its staff.

In addition to the Playground and Games Rooms, the Hotel offers seven, yes seven hours, of free Kids Clubs daily during all school holidays and every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. They also provide large family and interconnecting bedrooms, family changing rooms in their Leisure Club which has a Kids Pool, Swim Suit Dryers, Popcorn and Goodie Vending Machines, Kids Ride-ons, Kids Splash Times, Fit Kidz and Teen Zone Classes. The Hotel also have a bouncy castle on-site, can things get any more exciting than that?! This is not the first Award the Hillgrove Hotel has achieved.  Recently, the Hillgrove Hotel’s, Lir Spa & Wellness Centre came second in the Tatler Spa Awards. They have also Certificates of Excellence by Tripadvisor and  Booking.com.
